    (1) Unmatched accuracy

Our 3D stereo vision technology does not depend on signal-emitting devices and is highly robust, handling external influences such as fluctuating light and heat conditions without wavering from its task. Passengers are recognized as distinct from one another even if they are only 20 cm (8 in) from each other, market-leading precision. The Xovis system, built to exacting Swiss standards, guarantees constant sample rates, up to 98% of passengers in the covered area are registered by the system.

    (2) Unlimited coverage

The broad portfolio of Xovis 3D sensors with their wide angles of view accommodates the specific architectural conditions of any airport. An unlimited number of sensors can be combined in a multisensor for large areas.

    (3) Guaranteed data privacy

The Xovis 3D stereo vision sensor, with its powerful on-sensor person tracking engine, always guarantees data privacy. Data is transmitted in text format only and without any kind of personally identifiable information. The sensors can be configured to be GDPR compliant.

Use Case 1: Waiting times for airport passengers.

Measure and present trustworthy wait time data.

    Optimized operations

Dashboards with live views facilitate immediate reactions to excessive queue lengths and wait times. Real-time alerts and historical reports enhance stakeholder efficiency. Optimize scheduling, lane and counter opening, desk allocation, kiosks and self-service bag drops.

    Real-time alerts

Operators can optimize staff allocation by leveraging real-time insights delivered through customizable alerts and reports. Make data management at your airport more cost-effective while also ensuring managers have the situational awareness to anticipate potential bottlenecks before they occur.

    Passenger satisfaction

Passenger satisfaction is the goal of most airport operators—an objective that inspired the creation of AERO. Improve the overall passenger satisfaction by publishing trustworthy wait time data on your website, app and onsite within the terminal. Get a quick view of how passengers move throughout your terminal space with Heat Maps. Long lines do not necessarily mean long wait times.

Use Case 2: Queue detection for smooth operations

Dynamic Queue Detection for Dynamic Airports. Automatically detect airport terminal queues in structured and unstructured spaces.

    Queue Detection in Any Environment

Xovis is a market-leader in delivering the robust, automated solutions terminal operators need to effectively manage queues at multiple touchpoints. And managing starts with identifying, which is more difficult than it sounds—especially in high-volume terminal spaces with varying degrees of queue complexity.

Advanced Machine Learning to Detect Highly Dynamic Queues

Detecting the full range of queues—from the least to most complex—was the motivation behind AERO Queue Detection, developed using advanced machine learning techniques. There is no queue layout that Xovis hasn't encountered yet. The product of cutting-edge research, AQD was designed explicitly for airport terminals that need a robust automated solution with an exceptionally high level of accuracy for reliably managing queuing environments with different levels of complexity.

Effortless Precision with Auto-Adjusting Queue Detection

Queue layout changes don't require system adjustments like in other solutions. The auto-adjusting AERO Queue Detection algorithm can dynamically identify queue formation. Don't worry about the impact of queuing layout changes: The accuracy of your KPIs remains the same. No custom modifications or lengthy fine-tuning is required.

Use Case 3: Fill level of shared spaces

The Xovis 3D Stereovision sensors can capture guests with unparalleled accuracy and in most cases a single sensor placed at the entrance/exit of a confined space can already deliver the needed data.

The area fill level is an extension of people counting that uses sensors or a single sensor to collect data on line crossings. Sensors are counting ingoing and outgoing people to calculate the fill level not only in terminal areas but also in lounges, shops, and restaurants.

    Solution

The Xovis 3D Stereovision sensors can capture guests with unparalleled accuracy and in most cases a single sensor placed at the entrance/exit of a confined space can already deliver the needed data. Facility operators can enforce capacity filling levels and capture compliance for reporting purposes automatically. This use case is already live in many retail stores around the world. In order to accommodate different regulations, the variable of maximum people can be adjusted accordingly. Other functionalities include:

    • Real-time measures following live situational awareness (e.g. stopping the inflow of people if capacity limit reached)
    • Added benefit visitor statistics

    Benefits

The Xovis passenger flow management system is one system for all purposes. Its accurate real-time data is the foundation to accommodate fast growth without having to add new facilities. Airports and passengers benefit in many ways: it passenger flow management system
